Since the Manga has been licensed by Tokyopop for a German release a few days ago, the publisher explained that the official transcription of the character's names are "Ral" and "Grad". These spellings were taken from the contracts made with the Japanese publisher. Should this be changed in this article? Minikui 15:19, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
So, VIZ has announced the same title now. Ral Grad. I think the title should be changed here as well now. Minikui 18:40, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
Where did reeds come from? I remember reading it as Shennelord (シェンネロド, Shennerodo) Midusunknown 07:59, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
I was wondering where the information about the link between the Blue Dragon anime and Ral Grad manga came from as this is the first time i've read that and I don't see any connections between the manga and anime. A link to the source or anything else that can verify this would be appreciated. Zoldif ( talk) 07:37, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
The result of the move request was not moved. English Wikipedia avoids non-English characters in names where possible. -- Aervanath ( talk) 11:37, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Actually, I have a separate but related issue. Due to the MOSTM the article title should be the most commonly known name in English, generally the name of the original media, that being the Manga. From what I've seen it is not referred to with the omega sign on any searchable site (barnes and noble and borders just have it as Ral Grad) however it has no mention of Blue Dragon in the title. Blue Dragon is indeed the source from which this manga comes and was the main title on the German release, but the English manga itself is just Ral Grad. I believe the "Blue Dragon" in the title here should be removed. -
