I have removed this sentence from the article: "The (eventual) fruit of rajas is pain, even though the immediate effect of rajas is pursuit of pleasure." I have no objection to it being placed back in the article if someone can find a reference to substantiate it. Otherwise, it seems to me to be an opinion or Original Research which is not permitted on Wiki WP:OR -- Kbob ( talk) 00:27, 12 May 2009 (UTC) reply

Rajas and chapters 17 and 18 of the Bhagavad Gita and chapter XII of the Laws of Manu
