I've reverted it to the long term title of
Rajah Muthiah Medical College which still seems to be somewhat in use, from a cursory search. I'd suggest a full RM with evidence is needed. —

Good call, sorry I didn't think about doing this myself.
The issue here is
WP:COMMONNAME. The institute has definitely changed its title in 2021, and this should be reflected in the article title. Officially, the institute's title is "Government Medical College and Hospital Cuddalore" or "Government Medical College and Hospital Cuddalore District", as the sources in the article clearly show. However, the institute's logo says "Government Cuddalore Medical College", and that's also the title that the press uses, as other sources in the article show. I, therefore, believe the
WP:COMMONNAME is either "Government Cuddalore Medical College" or "Government Cuddalore Medical College and Hospital".

Oppose at this time. Only one source in the article (the PDF) mentions the name "Government Medical College and Hospital, Cuddalore District", and that is to point out the establishment of the
official name. We prefer common names to official names per
WP:AT, so in the absence of evidence that the new, official title is now the common name, there is no case to answer here so far.
