"Rags (c. 1916-March 22, 1936, Silver Spring, Maryland) was a mixed cairn terrier" "and remained its mascot until his death in 1931" Which was it, 1931 or 1936? 20 years seems too long for a dog, but 15 seems right. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.123.107.203 ( talk) 08:12, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Happy to have anybody able to use my information on Rags. FlowerofScotland ( talk) 19:50, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Please disregard the above message. I have reached the conclusion that Wikipedia is not for me. Please do not restore edits that I have made. I plan to open up a new web page to communicate my research on Rags. Keep in mind that I have pointed out that the very short page on Rags contains a number of errors: Rags was not born in France, no information exists that he has cairn terrior blood, the date mentioned is July 14, 1918 not July 15, 1917 and the term press-ganged is neither correct or suitable. Hope someone will make the corrections. Respectfully submitted. FlowerofScotland ( talk) 17:15, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Have decided to give another try at editing Rags because I am now more familiar with Wikipedia and it bothers me that incorrect information is sitting on the page. I am placing new information that was not on before, considerably reduced in accordance with the importance of the site and all is carefully sourced and referenced. I have created a new Web page on Rags but that is not the material I have placed on the Wikipedia page. I have placed an external link for that web page but under further reading, not as a reference. This is so anyone may visit this page that contains considerably more info on Rags that is also carefully sourced and referenced. FlowerofScotland ( talk) 14:56, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Have completed adding correction, additional information and citing sources used. May need some technical corrections. How does message about article not containing sources and references get removed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by FlowerofScotland ( talk • contribs) 19:42, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Added inline citations. FlowerofScotland ( talk) 19:18, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Added new - better image - taken in 1920 so has some faults - it is also like the first one an Army Signal Corps photo and is a U. S. government source - but I must have done something wrong on the upload as it does not come across correctly - beyond my skill to correct this - Help! Please stop adding excess caps to headings. We only use them for the first word and for proper nouns. "Rags' unique behaviour" is correct, "Rags' Unique Behaviour" is not. LeadSongDog ( talk) 17:35, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
