I removed the date that he immegrated to Canada since that date puts it before his birth... If anyone has a real date please enter it. Gordie 19:11, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
24.82.112.7 I re-entered that he emigrated to Canada in 1958. The info is there, in previous incarnations of the page. cool it was also a very popular song sung by raffi the great it was liked by many people and was admired by many of the citizens. It was heard by many people and the made it popular amongst them so he is a popular guy. He lived in USA for many years.
"Raffi ran a Nutmeg house at the University of Toronto up until 1980"
WTF is a "Nutmeg house"? There is a bed and breakfast with this name in Toronto. Any relation? Otherwise, googling "nutmeg house" gets me nowhere. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.17.178.36 ( talk) 03:21, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm really not sure what this term is supposed to mean exactly. Perhaps a more clear phrase could be used. BigSciZot 02:45, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Anyone going to write about internet popularity?
I've spoken to Raffi's representatives about the promotional bio that they had submitted. I've been retained to correct the bio and bring it closer into line with wikipedia's regulations. Just a heads up that I'm working on it and I have proposed the following changes to them:
I plan to put up what I have when I get everything together properly, most likely starting Friday, March 9th. Hopefully this will give us a better "starter" article, and I appreciate any feedback or help from the community.

Well, the confusion about nutmeg started with some vandalism back in February that nobody caught. He ran a coffee house, and someone, [1], changed "coffee" to "nutmeg," and "Toronto" to "Calcutta," but nobody noticed the nutmeg. Well, I'm gonna go change it. I'm surprised nobody has looked through the diffs yet, aside from myself. Saebjorn! 14:21, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

LOL, really? Deleted. No one vaguely reputable considers the man a "systems thinker" in any definition. He started a philanthropy organization dealing with kids, great, that doesn't make you Hegel or Kant or a thinker in the newer meaning of the word like a Schumacher, or in the sense used in communications, computers and complexity. Hi. Looking at Raffi (disambiguation), it seems to me that the Raffi page title should be used for the Egyptian-Canadian musician since he's the most likely result ( principle of least surprise) that users want when searching for "Raffi". The other Raffis can be linked from the disambiguation page. Is there any objection to making this move? -- MZMcBride ( talk) 23:19, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
