where's the evidence for the claim that this was "one of the most famous mosques in Cairo"? This mosque is famous because it has witnessed the massacre commited by the Egyptian Army/Police against the sit-in supporters of the deposed President Mohamed Morsi, the first democratically elected civilian president of Egypt, by the Minister of Defense Abdel Fattah el-Sisi (the current de facto President) in what is known as the 2013 Egyptian coup d'état. Offical records declare at least 638 deaths where shot/burned to death in that incident.
