The Spitfire 22 at the gate carried the serial number WP916, which seems to me to be actually a Chipmunk serial number. Can anyone confirm or deny? Paul Magnussen ( talk) 16:49, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
In opening sentences, units are very inconsistent. Land measurements in UK are generally given in miles, not a mixture of nautical miles kilometres. Equally, sixteenths of compass points are unnecessary, as is the direction and distance from another, not apprecviably better known, town once one location is given. Being Bold. We need to add the commercial jet use (run by city airport) in here somewhere. 87.83.31.234 ( talk) 02:56, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
