Þokka?

I'd be interested to know more about this word þokka as a collective for in Norse folklore. The word is obviously Icelandic or Old Norse, but I haven't seen this meaning of the word before. There is the Icelandic verb að þokka that means "to think of" or "to like" and the noun þokkagyðjur (plural) that means " Charites" or "Graces" in Greek mythology, but I haven't found anything that says it could be used for the rån of Norse folklore, so I'd be glad to know more about this use of the word. / Achird ( talk) 09:01, 1 January 2008 (UTC) reply
