Quo warranto petition against Maria Lourdes Sereno Republic v. Sereno – I don't know why this page is given a special name which other cases in Category:Supreme Court of the Philippines cases are not given. When reliable sources discuss the case, they refer to it as Republic v. Sereno (see cites after G.R. No. in lead), but often talk about the petition as well, but they don't use the name of the petition to talk about the case itself.  Request withdrawn. I change my mind, I like the title as it is. Psiĥedelisto ( talkcontribs) please always ping! 07:14, 11 June 2020 (UTC) reply
I would've supported this. Howard the Duck ( talk) 16:00, 27 December 2021 (UTC) reply

Qua warranto petitions as "seldom used"

Can I get the exact phrasing from the reference about it being "seldom used" at least since Calida? Several election cases in the House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal and Senate Electoral Tribunal are of this sort, including David v. Poe.
