The article states that it's because of a swamp, then later states that it was because of a tomb that shouldn't be desecrated. Neither is a particularly convincing argument (graves are constantly moved, as with St. Peter's basilica in Rome), but the two explanations are contradictory. -- Vicedomino ( talk) 08:17, 8 September 2016 (UTC)
Canterbury Cathedral also bends in the middle. -- Vicedomino ( talk) 08:31, 8 September 2016 (UTC)
this article seems to have had little maintenance in a long time, and there's a ton of problems with it, particularly regarding the readability (it's far too long and detailed) as well as general formatting issues. i've made a small dent in the mess here by adding a history section and starting on deleting trivia, but there's still a lot to do. the article does not need a breakdown of every individual window, nor a section dedicated to each part of the building. i'm going to continue working on cleaning up this article, but if anyone can help or consult it'd be appreciated! @ Vicedomino Sawyer-mcdonell ( talk) 18:58, 18 June 2023 (UTC)
