Hi, I have added tags to the article where verification or citation is needed. There hasn't been a provison of sourced reference as of yet, so more attention to the article is warranted. This is what I've done.-- Jhelyam ( talk) 04:20, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

According to the Bible ,
the
names of Saul's children were
Sons : Jonathan, Ishvi and Malki-Shua.
Daughters : older daughter was Merab, and that of the younger was Michal.
It would vastly improve this article to also include the Islamic sources on (Saul) Talut's children and their descendants .

I agree with the views above by
Intothefire that the pedigree given here in this article for Quais/Kais/Kish is not correct. As a
Tareen from Haripur area of
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Pakistan, and a Sarbanri
Pashtun, I would like to give the full proper pedigree here, below, from Saul King of Isreal to Qais/Kais/Kish:
Following sources may be checked also please: (a) Khwaja Niamatullah's 13th-14th century Makhzan i Afghan, (b) Muhammad Hayat Khan's Hayat i Afghan (1865) and (c) Capt RTI Ridgway's The Pathans (1901). They quote some valid exceprts from the correct pedigree, and support it. Ridgways says that its possible that some of the names might not have been properly transcribed from original Hebrew into Arabic and Persian, although some of the Jews of Herat who retained their religion had similar pedigrees and could support these. It is also a misconception that the family or descendants of Saul were removed when many other tribes were, from Israel--it seems that some of them went and settled in Persia and Afghanistan (Bactria, Gandhara) a bit later, as colonists. I hope that please, corrections will be made here thanks. 39.54.193.56 ( talk) 13:31, 5 October 2013 (UTC) Prof Dr M Uwais Khan Tareen, Pakistan
I've already reverted this once as not only do I not think the source meets our criteria as WP:RS, it is clearly pov as it contradicts sources that clearly do meet WP:RS. I've raised this at WP:NPOVN#Qais Abdur Rashid. Dougweller ( talk) 12:32, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
