This article claims that this was the first pyramid to use the cross-wall construction method - "a method of construction never before seen in an Egyptian pyramid" - but according to fr:Pyramide de Sésostris Ier (Google translation), it was also used in the pyramid of his father, Amenemhat I. -- !! ?? 09:50, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
