Clarify Statement

The line

"In contemporary English, use of the word pussy to refer to women is considered derogatory or demeaning, treating people as sexual objects.

under "Female Genitalia" could perhaps be clarified and re-worded similarly to the following:

"In contemporary English, use of the word pussy to refer to female individuals/women themselves/something similar, as opposed to female genitalia, is generally considered to be derogatory and demeaning."

Upon first reading the line, I misunderstood it as referring to genitalia as opposed to females themselves. Further, I believe some of the wording in the line is awkward/unnecessary.

Weakness

I was researching the origins of "pussy" as a derogatory name, and came across the word "pusillanimous" which is, according to dictionary.com, synonymous with timorous, fearful, frightened. Was surprised not to see the apparent connection at least mentioned as a possibility here.

slang cat

please add a link to moggie as another term for cat - perhaps wiktionary?

The lead paragraph (specifically the third sentence) has mismatched quotation marks. 2605:A601:AADC:2100:696B:3D98:6558:B623 ( talk) 00:32, 28 December 2021 (UTC) reply
