The contents of the Intein page were merged into Protein splicing on 21 April 2020. For the contribution history and old versions of the redirected page, please see its history; for the discussion at that location, see its talk page.

Merging Intein into here sounds like a good idea, given that inteins are only produced as part of protein splicing, and the protein splicing page is under-developed, hence benefitting from the new content.
