From a misreading - it's the 25th birthday of Ars Electronica (the organization), but they started to give the prize when they were 8 years old already. I fixed that sentence in the article already. andy

The lovely little article on the 2004 Prix winners website mentions plural "wikipedias" with a lower-case W -- I've dropped them a note asking them to change this; if we allow it to happen without comment, then we risk Wikpedia becoming a genericized trademark. I don't think it's such a terrible offence. They're referring to the many language versions of the Wikipedia, so using the plural makes sense; it's not like they're using the word to refer to all online encylopedias, or all of our mirrors or anything. -- Camembert

Image:PRIXARS RGB.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use.
