Site of the new post

The article says "the post was refounded a little way up the river." Similarly, this site says "The company reoccupied the area in 1783, and built a new post about four kilometres up river."

Is the site of the "new post" the same as the present-day town of Churchill? (Which is up the river, but also on the opposite side of the river.) If so, it would improve the article to explicitly say so. 75.163.201.149 ( talk) 04:26, 11 April 2017 (UTC) reply
