The office of Prime Minister was abolished after the current Kenyan constitution was effected in March 2013. In the history of Kenya, the first PM Kenyatta was appointed when Kenya had the Queen as the head of state; the PM was assumed head of government. The second one was re-established as a power-sharing deal, where the president and the PM had equal power in government, even as the former remained head of government. However, the Prime Cabinet Secretary role is neither defined nor recognized in the current laws of Kenya. It is a new position and should be treated as such.-- 102.140.222.226 ( talk) 14:57, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
