The article Prasinococcaceae should be merged into this page. As of 2020, [1] the Prasinococcaceae family only contains Prasinococcus, because the genus Prasinoderma now forms a completely independent lineage ( Prasinodermophyceae, which is the sister group to Palmophyllophyceae; together they compose Prasinodermophyta).
