There should be a paragraph about the preperation before the powder coating is applied, the cleaning, rinsing and galvanizing are very important parts of all paint and powder processes. -- Ifrit 08:57, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
We've powder coated something, but we cant get any sattisfactory branding onto the powder coated surface. We've tried silscreening, engraving, and applying a stick-on, none are sattisfactory. Any ideas.

I have added my website in the external link list. This website www.ipconweb.com is dedicated to the powder coating activity in India. It has been in existance for more than six years. I am surprised why it was removed!
I agree. Though I am new to the wiki concept, I am not sure who added the two remaining links in the External Links section. Do these links also fall in the "Links to be avoided" category since they do contain list of suppliers.
We can also consider the following list of sites.
http://www.coat-this.com/index.asp
http://www.powdercoating.org/home.htm
http://www.metalfinishing.com/index.html

I removed a commercial link to TNT coatings from within the article, it added nothing to the article and is a simply an advertisement

i dont think a Tg of 200ºC is accurate, since most powder coating resins have a Tg of 50 to a 100 ºC, also during curing the powder only starts to melt when the reaction is going, giving a very bad appearance —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.229.52.189 ( talk) 20:44, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
I deleted the text added by this user, which appears to have been added by the folk at PhotoFusion. The text removed was unencyclopaedic and read as an advertorial, and was unsupported by sources. I note the PhotoFusion website links to this page. Otfordian ( talk) 22:27, 11 July 2012 (UTC)
