Did the IRA championship regatta continue to be called the Poughkeepsie Regatta in Ohio 1950-51, in Syracuse 1952-94, in Camden 1995-present? If partly then for how long? Has the term been used by organizer, in newspaper coverage, or where?
The HRRA and Marist College sources on modern revivals do not mention that the term is still in use, much less that it is the common name for a continuing IRA national championship event (or regatta including some national championship events, etc) as the lead suggests.
