Remember that this is a vote section. And NO SOCKPUPPETS, OK? There are about 400 admins watching, and they will block sockpuppets on sight.
I have fond childhood affection for the old episodes, yet was pleasingly surprised by the new ones.. I always preferred Thomas the Tank Engine though.. Maybe it was that Ringo Starr narration... Vanky 22:40, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)
He shouldn't have done that. There was a long line when he got back the third time.
That's not very nice! But if that's what you believe, cast your vote.
Read the article, you doofus!
Another voting section. Again, PLEASE don't use sockpuppets. VFD has been taken the wrong way in the past because of sockpuppetry.
Yes you do. Greendale was based on a Cumbrian village, but it's actually in Yorkshire. And the insertion of anything which I know not to be true constitutes vandalism.
I just don't seem to know what the vote is but I think it maybe set in cumbria. 86.148.123.151 17:06, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
There seems to be sum discussion as to the correctness of this statement. The government minister Paul Goggins revealed that his mother was the inspiration for the character of Mrs Goggins in 2004.

The article states "Another set of 28 episodes has been commissioned, and will air in autumn 2005." Did this happen? -- David Edgar 10:15, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Someone should remove that section about The Fring Family being characters in Postman Pat, as they don't exist. I've tried several times but some idiot keeps putting it back. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.93.21.134 ( talk • contribs) .
I've changed the wording of the section about the Gaelic version. It previously seemed to suggest that the programme was only shown in Gaelic in Scotland. This is not true. The vast majority of the time we get the English version and only sometimes is the programme broadcast in Gaelic. I'm not sure how often but I believe it is pretty seldom and usually as part of another Gaelic programme. This is why (as the previous version which i edited stated) the BBC Scotland website lists it as "Postman Pat" and not "Pàdraig Post". -- Thetriangleguy 17:05, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that it had recently been discovered that some of the envelopes shown in Postman Pat actually had obscenities written on them, which could be read with the aid of freeze-frame. But Googling turns up nothing. ANyone else remember this and can supply a link? 143.252.80.110 19:26, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Image:Mrs g.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Hi everyone! I want to know who is acting Jess the Cat? She is known for going out with Pat her and she miaows too. Jess looks diffrent from the following times.

Found numerous replacements of "cat" with "pig" regarding Jess. Corrected them all for now. I advice everyone to be on the look-out for more potential vandalism to this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.167.234.84 ( talk) 18:05, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

I notice that an awful lot of this article appears to consist of lists that don't really serve any purpose other than pleasing fancrufters. For instance, I don't see the relevance of a list of vehicles unless the vehicles are key to the series, which, unless the series has changed significantly since I was a preschooler, is not the case. I'm also not entirely clear who would need a list of songs from the series - hardcore fans would already know them and nobody else would really care. I'm happy to make the changes myself, but not having seen the series in about twenty years, I'm not sure what's relevant and what isn't. HonestTom ( talk) 09:57, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
According to this [2] the new series starting next week is going to feature a brand-new look. Does anybody have anything to corroborate this? HTH HAND — Phil | Talk 15:51, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

The list of Characters needs to be sorted out. I think the main characters of the programme should be listed with a bit about themselves. Any other names included is just fancruft IMO. So Pat and Jess should be included that's for sure, not sure about any others. TwentiethApril1986 (talk) 04:05, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Does anyone know the behind the scenes reason for him being in both Freeview and Specsavers ads? It'd be interesting to add Jedi Master Bra'tac ( talk) 16:20, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
The article never mentions the Boro Pat parody series. Basically parts of some episodes re-dubbed to make characters telling adult jokes, cursing at each other, etc. They were posted on Youtube for a while. Ultimately there were like 20 episodes. Here's the 9th episode, to give you an idea. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7192519897993020607&ei=lXpSS7SMOoKurQLIt52_Dw&q=Boro+Pat&hl=en# The original website, boropat.com, seems to have disappeared. -- 98.232.178.38 ( talk) 02:53, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
