I have reverted the move of this page to Bristol & Portishead Pier and Railway, which was made on 6 June to reflect the legal name of the company which built it. The rather obvious reason is that this article is not about the company. >95% of the article text is about a railway, and not about a company. I haven't checked with Companies House, but I'm guessing that the company does not exist, and has not existed, probably since the completion of construction, but certainly for many decades. Thus, at least a quarter of the article -- the reopening section -- has nothing at all to do with that company. Joe D (t) 10:13, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
The page does not mention the link to the western end of the Bristol Harbour Railway system. This is (was) between the junction with the main line and the first station. This link was used by the Western Fuel Company for access to their sidings behind the Bristol Industrial Museum until about 2000. The junction was removed when the Portishead branch was rebuilt, thus isolating the remaining lines of the Bristol Harbour. I don't seem to be able to edit the line diagram so have left this edit for others to possibly do. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.140.165.49 ( talk) 17:24, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
