Was "Seven Mile Drome" also known as "Seven Mile Strip"? If so, Lyndon B. Johnson saw his only combat action in WWII in a Martin B-26 Marauder "Heckling Hare" that passed through Seven Mile Strip on its way to bomb a Japanese airbase at Lae in New Guinea. The RAAF roundel used during WW2 was a simple blue circle, with white or grey centre. That would be more appropraite to use in the summary box. The red kangaroo silhouette came after WW2. 220.240.229.8 ( talk) 00:11, 16 December 2016 (UTC) reply
