I read a reference to Poplarville elsewhere and came to Wikipedia to learn more. I was confused because there wasn't any mention of anything special in this article. With some digging I found the 1959 lynching of Parker, which may be the most famous event in Poplarville history. Yet, references to it keep getting deleted: 12 July 2006, 9 December 2006, 17 October 2016, 17 October 2016, 19 October 2016, 20 December 2017. After that last deletion in 2017 it wasn't restored until I retrieved it from the history. Hopefully the content will be stable in the future. I'm leaving this note so that future editors will be aware of the issue. Mobi Ditch ( talk) 21:18, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
