Which of the listed variations of Party-list proportional representation does South Africa use ? Wizzy… ☎ 13:30, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
The table is outdated; it still shows 2014 results. KesTheHammer ( talk) 13:47, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
{{Politics of South African}} The box below is quite good, except that it gives the current (or at least from 2004) President etc, hence as it stands is quite inappropriate to use on South African general election, 1910 and South African general election, 1915 etc! A more general box is needed for "Politics and government of South Africa", and to avoid the need to change individually all pages where it was used the present box could become election 2004 south africa or similar for the current or last election only. Hugo999 ( talk) 03:56, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
The government section of the "Outline of South Africa" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.
When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.
Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

This article does not make sense. South Africa is either federal or unitary, it cannot be both. Nevertheless, the article states "unitary" in the beginning and "federal" half way down. Which one is it? Gabbhh ( talk) 01:24, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
Almost none of the information in the "Challenges Ahead" section is verified. Furthermore a lot of it (in particular paragraph 1 and part of paragraph 4) appears to be expressing an opinion and is arguable. Information concerning the Truth and Reconciliation Commission appears to be irrelevant to the section (or is the author trying to say that the TRC is a challenge ahead). In fact why is the TRC even being mentioned in the article. Similarly, I do not see how information about whether power in South Africa is localized or centralized (paragraph 3) constitutes a "challenge ahead". Suggesting removal of entire section.
