I just added a number of Haitian political parties, which had Wikipedia articles, that were not listed. Also missing were Inite and New Communist Party of Haiti (Marxist-Leninist) which I shall add shortly. I noticed that a variety of political parties mentioned in various sources such as the CIA Factbook, the U.S. Department of State's Background Notes, CQ's Political Handbook of the World, and books such as Dupuy, Alex (2007). The Prophet and Power: Jean-Bertrand Aristide, the International Community, and Haiti., were not in this list. Also the non-articled parties really ought to have source notes; I added a couple, but more are needed. From my initial scrutiny it seems that older political parties are also missing. I hope others will work on making this list more comprehensive and better sourced. -- Bejnar ( talk) 22:43, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Does anyone else suspect that many of these parties may not exist anymore? For example, there is exactly one piece of information online about the Independent Movement for National Reconciliation, which is a Georgetown University election information database. There is literally no information anywhere else about this party, or their presidential candidate. Any up-to-date lists of parties on Haitian government sites? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 20WattSphere ( talk • contribs) 03:17, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
I feel like the graphical summery of the Hypothetical polling for the next Haitian election which is stuck at the bottom of this page feels out of place. Like it belongs on the article for the election, as opposed to this article listing parties. However, I am unsure if this is the correct course of action and will leave the graphs until told otherwise. Scu ba ( talk) 19:22, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
