Er…… We have “ Geely describes the brand as "independent" from 2017 onwards and "co-owned" by it and Volvo Cars.[2]” Is Wikipedia a mouthpiece for Geely? Volvo is a subsidiary of Geely. Are we to carry on the pretence that Polestar is not owned and controlled by Geely? I’m finding it very hard to believe that an independent editor wrote “Geely describes the brand as "independent" from 2017 onwards and "co-owned" by it and Volvo Cars.[2]”.. Polestar is a Chinese-owned company. Interests associated with the company appear to be removing ownership details in a deliberate attempt to hide the ownership 220.240.182.128 ( talk) 13:16, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
If Donald trump bought Volvo it would be a trump company. If the Germans bought Huawei it would now be a German company. If I bought your house it would now be my house. But you seem to be saying if the Chinese bought a Swedish company it is still Swedish. Not logical or consistent with the facts. Also check the MG cars listing to understand how other companies and editors are truthful 120.21.74.167 ( talk) 21:29, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
The people who are hiding the Chinese ownership need to do their research. Until today I did it realise Wikipedia was a dishonest and biased resource.
This seems rather muddled at the moment. What is the relationship between the British company Polestar Automotive Holdings UK PLC (who produce the Company Reports), Volvo, Geely, and the Swedish company (not clear what its name is) that designs, develops, and manufactures the cars? -- DeFacto ( talk). 09:58, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
