Rules stacked against these guys

Planet Gemini will struggle to satisfy many of the elements considered for notability under WP:Rules simply because they are "underground" (internet-based). They give all their music away free and do not tour. They will not chart any hits -- or likely get any awards from music industry institutions. As this (non-trivial, independent) review states, "[t]hey've largely removed themselves from the money-go-round that fuels so much of the music industry's ripoff environment, choosing instead to offer their recordings up for free downloading, with whatever ancillary cash they earn going for new equipment." That alone makes them noteworthy, especially after ten years and eight albums, but WP:Rules ostensibly do not provide for odd ducks.

They will be working with metal legend Vinny Appice on their upcoming album. [1] Perhaps some Wiki admin could alert Mr. Appice that they are non-notable. More write-ups in non-trivial, independent publications: [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7]. Laszlo Panaflex 22:16, 25 January 2007 (UTC) reply

Sources for the changes i've made

Just so you all know where i'm coming from, Planet Gemini is still alive and well, it's just a one man band with H as the ringleader, but they still make music, and are still putting out albums. And in response to the guy above me, Planet Gemini is very notable, but in a different way, as underground as they may be, most bands in the Doom/Stoner/Sludge Metal genre are particularly underground anyway, but those bands from those respective genres have plenty of notability. Anyway, here are my sources.
