N390PD is registered as a Plane Driven Sportsman GS2 with a Lycoming IO-390-X engine. MilborneOne ( talk) 13:47, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
The name is difficult. Typical American homebuilts are registered after the builder then the model. Most of the articles on experimental aircraft are listed as the maker or designer, and the model name. In this case it is a company registering a known experimental model that they in turn modify and create a new product. (ex. Shelby Mustang) FlugKerl ( talk) 16:25, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
The IO-390-X makes sense, the typical installation is a IO-360 which may have been assumed in articles. Either can be cited at the moment. FlugKerl ( talk) 16:25, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
