Anyone know of a good photo of a pitcher in the windup? All I can find on WP is images of pitchers pitching from the set. -- Locarno 15:29, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
I've never done this. Apologies if I'm not doing it right. I was trying to figure out what a balk was and i noticed that there seems to be a few words missing in the description of the windup. There is no mention of the rubber. The description of the set includes the words, "in front of and touching the rubber," and it seems like something similar to that needs to be in the description of the windup. ryan 69.121.125.253 03:44, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
If there are two positions why are there three terms in bold? Someone needs to make up their mind on what to call the second position. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.186.151.231 ( talk) 01:01, August 26, 2007 (UTC)
Please advise if a right hand throwing pitcher can come to set position from the stretch with his front foot positioned at about a 45 degree angle or half way between homeplate and first base? Is this legal?

Under the header 'Strengths and weaknesses' the following sentence was added: "Pitcher is by far the best position in baseball." This reads like vandalism to me, however I have pretty much zero knowledge about baseball, so I'm not sure if 'best position' is simply a term I don't understand. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ErfeoM ( talk • contribs) 14:45, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
