We need a new Fione picture. Darkness Lord | T | C 22:46, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Would Fione classified as a legendary Pokemon? 68.163.217.151 00:31, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
Also, note that it's name comes from the animal Clione
While looking through the edit history, I noticed that the species name has been changed at least twice, from 'Ocean Walker' to 'Ocean' and back. Serebii.net says 'Ocean', but Psypoke says 'Ocean Walker'. Both are fansites, so neither should really be trusted over the other, right? So what should we do about that? I suppose we could wait for the games to come out in English and for someone to obtain Phione and see what it says in the Pokedex, but what should we do until then?

I was looking at Legendary Pokémon and saw that Manaphy is on this list of Legendary Pokémon, but Phione isn't. As these two Pokémon are technically in the same "family", despite Phione not being able to evolve into Manaphy, shouldn't they be classified either as both Legendary Pokémon or both Non-Legendary Pokémon? This is the logical solution. Is the reason possibly because Manaphy can only be received through an event in Pokémon Ranger, whereas Phione can be bred from Manaphy and because you can get unlimited Phione in the Pokémon games? Again, I think I answered my own question, but despite being able to acquire an unlimited amount of Phione, I still believe it should be considered a Legendary Pokémon, as it is in the same family as Manaphy, another Legendary Pokémon. What are your thoughts on this, everybody? -- Ksy92003 04:26, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Arguments pro legendary:
Arguments anti legendary:
I feel the first anti-argument outweighs the pro-arguments, and Phione is not a legendary under current definitions. As for being a "family," aside from the fact that breeding Manaphy is the only way to get Phione in the first place, I could easily see Phione as its own self-contained "family" (seeing as how it can breed itself) with the Manaphy/Ditto crossbreed being an "alternative method."
As for Rotom, I feel it's nothing more than a glorified genderless Sudowoodo or Snorlax. SubStandardDeviation 19:17, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
what is phione's type?
It's a water type, according to the infobox. SubStandardDeviation 18:52, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
no i mean the spieces of phione.
The external links say it's "Sea Drifter", but there's no official Nintendo classification. SubStandardDeviation 00:27, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
I think it's Sea Drifter. Best I can think of. Arceus493 ( talk) 15:20, 8 July 2009 (UTC) HGSS
Okay, I'm confused.
It's been redirect to Melvin Sneedly many times, but I see no reason why, and it's been reverted every time. Someone trying to be funny, or is there a serious reason, and maybe this page should be a disambig? Didn't wanna start messing it up if there's a real reason. Ryfos ( talk) 16:56, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
ummm....dude? why is this even on? on a Talk:Phione section? huh? wait...hold on.... Arceus493 ( talk) 15:22, 8 July 2009 (UTC) HGSS
