Should the classical Greek philosophers' opinions of geography be at all included here? i.e: It was thought that climate played a part in temperament.
Philosophy of Geography or Phi in Geography - Geography draws upon many branches of philosophy, the same way other social studies do - it doesn't have any distinct Philosophy of its own, as such. I plan to give this article a good seeing-to at somepoint soon... If I get the time... -- Cooper-42 12:59, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

The layout of the article does not fit the topic.
The article has a lot of work to be done, hopefully you will help and my time is limited, but it is achievable. I shall go and do some reading to get more information and hopefully be able to help after the geography article itself has been sorted. AlexD 12:23, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
I've pruned the article back to a stub, and added a few relevant bits. the old version is here [1]. I've also requested attention from the relevant wikiprojects. Banno 10:14, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
The literature review in this page is lacking tremendously, it is limited to only the Western traditions, and only goes back to the 1930s. We need to bring in the Ptolemy traditions, Arab, Chinese, and British at the very least. Key books to mention are Geographia and Geographia Generalis. I'll begin working on this page, but thought I'd start the discussion. GeogSage ( ⚔Chat?⚔) 20:09, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
