I'm concerned with the lack of sources in this article, especially for the "Controversies" section. There appears to be no backing for any of the claims made in it - are there articles, references, etc., that could be inserted there?

I have removed all unsourced criticism. I will add some back as I obtain sources. Other cats mentioned in criticism section regarding IJF and Kodokan are well-known facts sourced elsewhere on Wikipedia. I will, nevertheless, later add citations for those facts here as well. --
