Mr. Schiller is a Senior VP of Apple Computer, a Fortune 500 company, and probably is a likely contender for CEO if/when Jobs retires. He routinely generates press, a google seach yeilds a half million results. The first 10 at least seem to directly apply to him. In his duties at Apple, he's in charge of marketing for a company that is widely known for its innovative advertising and marketing programs. I think he meets the basic criteria for notability. -- Xyrrus 20:38, 9 October 2006 (UTC) reply

I removed the notability tag. The previous article was removed after I tagged it as a copyright violation, because the article was a direct copy of the biography on Apple.com. There were no issues notability then, so I think it's safe to assume that there aren't any issues with Schiller now. As you say, he's a likely candidate to followup Jobs. mensch t 21:51, 9 October 2006 (UTC) reply

Controversy

The Controversy section is incredibly biased and unsourced. It looks like someone with a grudge against Phil Schiller wrote it.

I really don't know how to use Wikipedia so can someone please change it 81.103.166.105 ( talk) 13:02, 11 April 2014 (UTC) reply
