Grain size

Phaneritic texture has no upper grain size limit. It just says that the grains are large enough to be distinguished with the unaided eye. Pegmatitic is also phaneritic but it's lower limit is not 10 mm. There are various opinions but pegmatitic is usually igneous rock which grain size exceeds at least 20 mm.
