I wonder whether the Phanagoria synagogue is the earliest recorded north of Greece... -- Ghirla -трёп- 02:14, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
If I look up the coordinates with Google Maps, they are in the middle of some agricultural fields far away from the sea. Considering the site has been excavated, the excavations should be visible from satellite images. The photo also gives the impression that the site should be closer to the sea, and that the current coordinates are wrong. Hopefully someone can track down the correct coordinates? -- AlexanderVanLoon ( talk) 20:48, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
