Peugeot 508 (2nd generation)Peugeot 508 (R83) – Properly named based on chassis code. 88.243.182.116 ( talk) 11:13, 19 March 2023 (UTC) reply

Since this is a draft now, no definitive name for what the article would be called in the mainspace has been established. However, please note that WP:CONSISTENCY and WP:RECOGNIZABILITY play a role in determining the names of articles. Would "R83" be a recognizable disambiguator, and is it consistent with what is used in other articles on automobiles? Dekimasu よ! 11:43, 19 March 2023 (UTC) reply
There is no need to split Peugeot 508 into two articles. Continuous use of the nameplate, no segment change, no break in production, and nowhere near long enough to qualify for splitting based on size (14kb versus 50kb). Thanks,  Mr.choppers |  ✎  21:15, 19 March 2023 (UTC) reply
