The birth location is given as Farnborough, London though the early life section indicates he hails from South West England. I would not consider Farnborough South West so may be there needs to be some clarification of this situation. Keith D ( talk) 21:17, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 2 external links on

Dear Softlavender ( talk · contribs),
As requested, I am starting this discussion on the appropriate page's talk page. I am very concerned about some of your edits on the Peter Levy page, in which you have removed a lot of information. Whilst I can understand you removing some uncited points, you have removed at least two points that have been correctly cited.
Also, please can you explain your reasons for removing the Radio Humberside section, and I note that you have suggested that this was as the 'entire section was WP:OR and WP:SYNTH'. Please can you clarify under what point does the section fall under WP:OR/ SYNTH.
Thank you.

If Peter Levy crossed the pocket lines, he is a scab. It's not controversial to use such terms as he chose to take this action. It says a lot about him and how he views his colleagues. 2A00:23C5:B523:CF00:8500:C53D:9A9D:CE31 ( talk) 22:00, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
Nope. Not going in. Obviously not a neutral term, and not one used by the source. -- Escape Orbit (Talk) 18:04, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
What's the issue? He is a scab! 82.132.236.43 ( talk) 22:45, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
I've removed the paragraph about this as very dubious. It was first added, unsourced, in February 2011 at a time where a number of IP editors were adding obviously hoax content. It was removed in December 2013 as dubious, re-added by an IP editor in February 2014, immediately removed again, and then re-added yet again by an IP editor in January 2017.
The cite used is unverifiable and was added by the same IP editor. (What is The Journal magazine?) It was improved with page numbers added by another IP editor in July 2021, who was also adding abuse at the same time (see "scab" above) Even if it ever existed, there's a good chance it came from here in the first place.
I believe it is likely that these IP editors are all the same person and they are responsible for a number of hoax edits to this article, and are repeatedly restoring it when removed. Escape Orbit (Talk) 21:38, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
