Pescado rabioso was created by Luis Alberto Spinetta. Actually, the correct translation will be "fish with rabies", or "Rabious fish",(although I'm not sure that the word rabious exists) and not furious fish. In Argentina, it is quite common to say that somebody is "rabious" when he is furious, but in the case of Pescado Rabioso, Spinetta wanted a band with a paradoxical name, which was a fish with rabies, a disease also known as Hydrophobia (phobia for water). How can a fish be hydrophobic? That was exactly the paradox that Spinetta wanted to create with the name.

The word you're looking for is "rabid". Grangousier 17:49, 7 February 2006 (UTC) reply
