This isn't a massive topic, perhaps we should just merge them into one article instead? Regarding the name, perhaps they could both go to Personal and social grooming instead? Richard001 03:30, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm not sure why this article puts so much emphasis on male shaving. How is this more important than any other type of grooming? Additionally, I vote for removal of the section about after-shave lotions, as it reads more like an advertisement than an encyclopedic article. 92.202.1.11 ( talk) 15:27, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
I have never heard the words 'personal grooming' applied to animals. The word 'preening' is used in everyday English language, particularly to birds. I propose that the information on this page relating to animals is moved to a new page titled Preening (animals).__ DrChrissy ( talk) 18:30, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
