I think all this info is for another tournament elsewhere. I've played disc golf in BC and on Pender Island for years now, and I don't recognize a single name here.

The Pender Island Invitational is an amateur tournament . None of the competitors have competed in BC tournaments and none of the competitors live on the island. They travel from various parts of Canada and the USA and rent a house on the island for the 4 day event.

I see. I was confusing this event with the Pender Island Classic (or "Pender Bender") held on the May long weekend annually.
