Pauline Melville so long heard of as a famous Guyanese writer is a wonderful person. Given the chance to meet this delightful woman about a week ago here in Cuba at eh 21 international book fair was very welcoming. She is like a breath of fresh air and her last book ¨Eating Air¨ having to read it in Spanish which is my second language is as intriguing as if I had been gulping it up in English. Talent is a dear friend of Pauline and I do hope that she continues to be an inspiration for the rest of the Guyanese people.
