His time as Acting President was admittedly brief, but he did something. Also need to know why country needed an acting President -- gov't crisis, maybe? What did he do after his time as President was up, but before he died and was immortalised with a statue? 75.216.55.150 ( talk) 22:12, 25 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi, I think you should only use the "status" string for officeholders who are currently in the position. For a normal officeholder who is currently is office it is the "Incumbent". He has not been Acting President for years and by the way it does not look good in the article either. It just feels out of place. So in short, only use the "status" string for officeholder who are "currently" in the office. 188.149.157.0 ( talk) 09:45, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
