Paul Wilmott currently contains numerous claims, but no citation or reference to allow independent verification of any of those claims. WP:Verifiability says: The threshhold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth.
This article currently contains such vague claims as:
He is well known as the author … Who said he is well-known? What is the source of this claim?
He … is on the editorial boards of several academic journals. What journals? This statement may be completely untrue but without the academic journals being identified it is impossible to prove the statement is untrue.
This article appears to be nothing more than an unashamed promotion of Paul Wilmott. The article does not establish any notability for Mr Wilmott.
If a person is to be the subject of an article on Wikipedia that person must possess adequate notability. See WP:Notability and WP:Notability (persons). Dolphin51 ( talk) 13:10, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
