I think that those items written by Paul Shapiro should be summarized as content of this page, in-so-far as it relates to portraying his actions/activities. Including the promotional or personal positions expressed in an Opinion/Editorial is suitably addressed by simply summarizing it in article body or by relaying quotations from his work. Naturally I have no objections to articles written ABOUT the subject of the article: Paul Shapiro. Any thoughts? Ares0524 15:48, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Ryan Shapiro is a well-known animal rights activist, and three years older than Paul. Are these two family? Jay Dubya ( talk) 22:59, 23 March 2014 (UTC)

@ MarielaJohnson: edited the article to say Shapiro is no longer at HSUS. However he has a staff page on their website, but http://www.paul-shapiro.com/ could be read as him having left. "for 13 years Shapiro also served as a spokesperson and vice president for The Humane Society of the United States." Utsill ( talk) 22:40, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
