I don't understand the point the writer was making in the "the series marked Lafargue started with those a long career as political journalist." Perhaps someone more familiar with the subject could edit this. LessHeard vanU 22:15, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
"New" bio not incorporated in this WIKI entry for Paul Lafargue This whole entry needs to be redone. A major bio (2 volumes)Paul Lafargue and the Founding of French Marxism, 1842-1882, by Leslie Derfler, Harvard University Press 1991 and Paul Lafargue and the Flowering of French Socialism, 1882-1911, by Leslie Derfler, Harvard University Press 1998. I wrote a summary of PL's life based on Defler exhausted research. It was published by AK Press as "The Right to be Lazy:Essays by Paul LaFargue" I would like to submit a major redo of this entry based on Defler's bio. Hello everyone, I was reading this article today and noticed it needs to have the English tidied up a bit in places. I would normally do it myself (only minor revisions are necessary) but I can't as I have no time at all, so I thought I'd point out the need here and perhaps someone else could lend a hand. I insist, nothing major, but here and there a few minor grammar mistakes are bothersome to a native English reader. Cheers, Alan -- A R King 07:15, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
No reference is cited for 15 January 1842 as Lafargue's date of birth. This article provides another date - 16 June 1842. -- Rastko Pocesta ( talk) 23:28, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
Was his father's plantation worked by slaves? -- Error ( talk) 22:23, 22 September 2014 (UTC)
I've read through the page in question as well as searched through the book for references of Lafargue and have not found the quote. I suggest removing the quote if it cant be verified. Dunkin' Capitalism ( talk) 17:28, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
