Lead: Patricia Cardoso is a Colombian-American film director. Throughout her career she has won various awards for works. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at University of California's School of Cinematic Arts.
Rewrote because of inaccurate/biased response.
Early Life: Cardoso was born and raised in Colombia, the daughter of two architects.[3] She has both an archaeology and an anthropology degree from University of the Andes (Colombia). She was awarded a Fulbright scholarship and was then able to study film at University of California at Los Angeles [4]
I added in citations that were not there or unknowingly plagiarized.
