Is a Redirect of Patriarch of the West to Pope now appropriate

Given that the most recent Bishop Of Rome has dropped this title, is it still appropriate to have a page that redirects to pope ?. This would appear at odds with what the actual former title holder would wish.

I would suggest a page that gathers together the subject matter e.g., The descision to drop the title, including the Vatican responses, Other related commentary e.g. what the bishops of the Ecumenical Orthodox Patriarchate of Constantinople have mentioned regarding thus change, plus wikilink back to the former title holder i.e. pope page Ttiotsw 07:11, 7 October 2006 (UTC) reply
