Gah! So these are the only two districts created since the census, meaning there are now 642 districts? (Not including the Chhattisgarh bifurcations, which have been announced but won't be official until 2012)? Thanks.

OK thanks for the info, Crusoe. I'm still wrapping my head around the districts as they were six months ago. I'm glad they mention the tehsils; the census maps include those, so it will be easy to figure out the borders. Cheers,
