This article is wholly based on the piece in Wixey's book and there are a lot of unknowns. A couple of immediate points:

  • has anyone seen a photo of the Prawn on the water or in the air. here are lots of it on its dolly.
  • Wixey has the designer as Harold Bolas, who left sometime in 1929, though the dates are so vague that it could still be his. Our Parnall page says (without a source) HV Clarke, who certainly designed the G.4/31 some years later. There is a similar problem re the Possum: see its discussion page.
